Assistant Vocational Training Officer Grade DV37 train or teach one or more subjects for employment purposes. They conduct research and development of vocational training in line with industry needs.

Providing annual training schedule, training requirements including the division of work load of all Assistants/Assistant Vocational Training Officers

Planning and implementing a schedule of follow-up training visits in the industry for instructors and check the reports of follow-up officers to evaluate the effectiveness of the program

Conducting courses in accordance with the requirements of the syllabus and training standards and responsible for the quality and effectiveness of the courses conducted

Responsible in promoting, planning and conducting, evaluating the achievement of short-term courses conducted at the institution
