Competent Person (CP) - Hygiene Technician 2 responsible for conducting inspections and testing of the effectiveness of engineering control equipment in the workplace as required under the Occupational Safety and Health(OSH) Regulations 2000. Conducting inspection and testing of engineering controls equipment. CERTIFICATE:a) Hygiene Technician 2 Registration Certificate MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND COURSE DURATION:Option 1:a) Certified Industrial Hygienist; andb) Has passed Hygiene Technician 2 (Part II) examination conducted by NIOSH Option 2:a) Minimum Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational / Industrial Hygiene; andb) Has passed Hygiene Technician 2 examination conducted by NIOSH Option 3:a) Diploma in Engineering, or Natural & Applied Scienceb) Has attended the course for Hygiene Technician 2;c) Has passed Hygiene Technician 2 examination conducted by NIOSH; andd) Has a minimum of 1 year working experience in Occupational Safety & Health
