H2S Technician (Hydrogen Sulfide) (Operation) operates, monitors, and maintains and performs calibration checks on h2s detection systems and air breathing safety equipment at a land or offshore based drilling rig or production platform where there is a potential for an anticipated release of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gas.

H2S Technician is responsible for monitoring work locations for existing or potential hazardous substances, including H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide) and LEL, as well as others dangerous conditions

Conduct Safety Audits at work locations to ensure activities are within regulations

Responsible for rigging up and down of equipment, trouble shooting equipment, checking calibration, testing and inspection of equipment daily
